Our history
Back in the late 60s, our journey began with crafting small runabout windscreens. As the boats and motor yachts in New Zealand started stretching their water lines, our little company grew right along with them. From the tiniest dinghies to grand super yachts, we specialised in creating windscreens, windows, and doors, serving both major and minor OEMs throughout New Zealand. It was an exciting time of growth and innovation for us.
As the boating landscape evolved, we transformed into Sandbrook Glass Industries when imported boats started giving local manufacturers a run for their money. We began importing Taylor Made Systems' toughened glass windshields, a game-changer that quickly became the go-to choice for top-tier boats. In partnership with Taylor Made Systems, we started importing premium curved glass and manufacturing the windshields right here in New Zealand, a tradition we proudly uphold today.
Our journey has seen us go by different names, including a brief stint as a subsidiary of Taylor Made Systems of NY, known as Taylor Made Systems Pacific. But today, the ownership has come full circle and is back in the hands of the original Sandbrook family. We maintain strong ties with TMS and are honoured to be their representative in New Zealand. Today, we're delighted to offer you products crafted from the finest materials by our skilled and experienced team, ensuring you receive nothing but the best.
